Due to the recent government guidelines, unfortunately our charity shop will be closed until advised otherwise. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Keep Safe Everyone.
Most of our funds are raised through our own charity shop, Second Chance and the Monday lunches in the Memorial Hall. This is run entirely by local volunteers and all proceeds from sales at the shop are distributed as grants to community groups in Shap.
We have now awarded our latest set of grants to local Shap community groups!! See our Previous Grants page for details. Thats a total of £90783.00 of grants awarded so far. Thanks to all our customers, to everyone who has donated goods to the shop and a special thanks to all our hard working volunteers!
Want a cup of tea, cake and a chat on a monday morning/lunchtime? Come along to the Memorial Hall between 11am and 1.30pm. Soup sandwiches and a 'special'; cake, tea and coffee. All money raised goes into our grants for local groups.
The Trustees of Shap Community Enterprise meet four times a year to consider grant applications from local groups. Please see the Apply for a Grant page for full details of how to apply.
